Abs Off!

The NSX comes standard with both Traction Control System (TCS) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). TCS can be easily deactivated via a switch on the dashboard. Some people also prefer to turn off ABS especially when driving on the track so that they can modulate the brakes themselves and threshold brake. There is an undocumented way to turn off the ABS right from the driver's seat. Here's how:

1. While stopped, pull the hand brake up one click.
2. Drive at about 20 mph for 10-15 seconds.
3. The TCS and ABS warning lights will come on.
4. Both TCS and ABS have now been deactivated.
5. Disengage the hand brake.

To turn ABS back on, turn off the ignition. Note that everytime you turn on the ignition ABS and TCS will be reset to active.

Do you think it works for our TLs??

This undocumented "trick" works. I used to do it in my 1997 GS-R all the time.

sometimes ABS is a PITA....
like when im goin down my drivewy and its all snow....

i gotta stop for a car comin, hit brakes (not going fast)
but stupid ABS will kick in and instead of stopping i'll about slide into the road, without ABS the snow would build up under the tire and act as backforce stopping u quicker
