Z1, Z2, and Z5 should do the trick. Z1 is polish lock so I guess you can bypass too if you use swirl mark remover. Make sure to clay the car beforehand, makes a heck of a difference.

z1, z2, z6, and z7 is must... With these you will already have a beautiful shine. Now if you want to add more shine I suggest clay bar too. This helps clean everything off. I don't suggest passing up on the z1, the polish lok, I think this is the main ingredient for the shine. It's supposed to bond the clean surface paint and the show car polish....

Z-1 is needed b/c that's what the first coat of Z-2, Z-3(we don't need this b/c we have a clear-coat finish), or Z-5 bonds to. Which also reminds me that I gotta pick up some Z-7(wash) and Z-18(claybar) as soon as the weather warms up.

Z-1, Z-2, and Z-6 are the bare minimum you should get, IMO. Oh, and make sure not to use too much, it'll be hard to tell if you've coated the surface properly with your color (I should know) so my advice is to be thorough and take your time.

Look at it this way...you do have a big "down payment" because if I were you I'd buy a bottle of Z1, Z2, Z6, Z7, Z18, and the Z5 glass polish. Even so, my Z1 bottle is only 10% gone, and I've ended up putting on about 20 coats of Zaino total and haven't emptied any of my other bottles...and of course the 2 clay bars last for a year (clay only twice a year). So I'd just suck it up and go. Spending $100 for a year's supply isn't too bad...or if you're a psycho $100 for a 4 months supply ($25/mo) still isn't bad Just don't eat 5 meals ever month.

Skip the Z1 and get the ZFX

If you don't already have Zaino around, I would skip the Z1 and get the new ZFX. It not only replaces the Z1 but eliminates the 24 hour cure for the Z2 and Z5.

I use the Z1, Z2, Z6, Z7 and Z18 claybar. I bought the Z5 but have not had to use it yet, thank goodness. The Z2 is awesome on the glass and I use Lexol for the leather and Meguiars Endurance for the tires.

The 24 hour wait between coats is killing me but the ZFX wasn't out at the time.
