'99 tl type s

lol... i was just on my way to work at FIU when i saw a '99-'01 (dont know what year exactly) with type-s stocks and the type-s badge in the back. i noticed it wasnt cuz of the tail lights and when i passed him i saw the front. i was there like . i just looked at him, laughed, and floored it and htere i went. other than that he had it dropped pretty low and body kit.... he was much older than me (im 18) and he had his wife with him... jsut thought i would share this with everyone.. also... if ur the guy with that car and ur here.... take the type-s off man... thats just gay.

You think that's bad? I once saw a Mexican dude in a black beat up Camaro with the Type S emblem on his trunk lid. I drove by him and just laughed in his face.

Hmmm... it's still better than seeing a "VTEC" sticker on a Nissan Altima.

I wish my 99 TL was a type S

Has anyone with a TL-P tried to use the TL-S throttle body?

you guys shoudl listen to how you sound. everyone, including everyone of you wants to feel important. the mere fact that an 18 yr old got a car a few years after an older guy got his doesnt mean jack squat. you're just doing the same thing the other guy was trying to do: feel superior. stop trying to be so damn high by putting other people down. sure, the emblem is kinda stupid, but so is a kid doin what you're doin.

no, Saber Type S and Inspire Type S are basically the same as the TL-S and the Saber 32V and the Inspire 32V are basically the same as a TL-P

I thought a TL-P was 24V, not 32V.
Am I confusing my TL with something else?

ok i saw pics on a site that sells the emblems and they had a pic of a type-s well what looked like a type S had the rims but the emblems said Saber 32V thats not rite then hu, i mean if u choose to put that one thats great but in reality ur degrading the speed of ur own car to others, which is good for competition but u kown what im getting at...

why does anybody care about this emblem thing, as long as i drive a REAL Type S, i am happy. actually, although it is degrading to our cars to see a crap ass civic with the S emblem, you can look at it as there way of looking up to their big brother, hoping to be like him one day. catch my drift or is this a bit confusing?

if you want me to eat ****, than i guess ill try yours.

maybe i was too technical for you. in simpler terms, it is sad when an insecure person tries to feel better by putting other people down for trying to also feel better about themselves. makes sense, doesnt it?

32V means "3.2-liter VTEC"

alright, im sorry man. peace, ok?

seriously, it didnt make sense to you? psychologically, everyone is in a lifelong fight to feel secure about themsevles. Most of the things we say are a result of trying to get a one up on everyone else. i was saying that to recognize someone trying to beef themselves up by puttin a type s on their tail, than just chuckle to yourself. but its obvious that you brought it here in front over everyone to embarrass the guy and say how much better you are than him. i just didnt think it was cool. but you're real lucky to have a type s and be only 18.

ok yea im soorry too... no need to fight... but i wasnt totally bashing him or trying to embarass him... i did say that his car looked good... but just that the type-s sign isnt right... and i wouldnt really call it luck that i have this car... cuz i honestly feel that i earned it.
