i have a 99 tlp i guess it is ..its not the type s...i keep hearing that the transmission goes...is it covered under warranty? what happens to the trans ? how do i know if mine goes? i bought it wiht 47000 miles on it..

 

You're cover for 100k/7yrs from the date of the orig. purchase. So yes it should still be covered.

You're reimbursed, the letter that you should recieve will have the necessary paper work. You'll have to wait till then or call Acura Customer Line.

 

The letter probably went to the old owner if you just bought the car. Talk to the dealer or call Acura Customer Line.
