swapping my iacv from my 99 throttle body to my type-s throttle body today. i noticed that the 99 throttle body is about 4 mm smaller than the type-s one but it has a spacer on it. with a secondary gasket.

decided to install it onto the type-s throttle body. will report when i finish.

can't see your pictures but the opening of the TLP TB is smaller than the TypeS so you've got to be losing airflow.

 

the spacer doesnt have a circular opening. why cant you see the pictures?

anyway. put it on. went for a drive. didnt feel a difference. im sure the increased throttle response is all in my head
