Can anyone help me regarding a Code 1457 I'm getting on my car with 116K miles on it? I've replaced the gas cap at the recommendation of the Autozone associate. After this the car produced no codes for a couple hundred miles and then it shows up again! Car runs perfectly BTW.

This can be an non-problem.

I got this code once and reset the light (with a scanner).
It has not come back since.

Could be from a loose gas cap, etc...

You can disconnect the Battery to reset the light but that's
a problwm as you need to have the radio code on hand etc.
It can also be done with a certain fuse but I'll have to check the
shop manual for sure.
