Question 99 TL - Need Navigation Help

Yo.

I'm a new TL owner, and I have a 99 TL Black with Black leather and Navi. I got the car from the Classifieds from some idiot selling it reeeeaaaaalllll cheap. Everything is great but the navigation does not work. It is a blue screen with a yellow box that reads something about how it has an error.

I wanted to know if anyone knew how i could get it fixed...

or a cool DIY mod i could whip up... THANKS A BUNCH

CB

well what i would do is swap that old hard drive based navi unit in the trunk with a dvd based one from the 00-03 tl's, you get better coverage and upgrading map data is as simple as ordering a new navigation dvd disc, the dvd based navi units are more reliable, and they stopped updating the hdd based units in 2002

It's about $250+ up. Check on Ebay an don't forget to ask for Navi code. If they don't have it, you will just have to go to Dealer an get it.
