99 CAI questions
as the screen name states, i drive a lude
i'm posting this for a friend
he's got a 99 auto and was interested in a CAI
i helped him search and all we could find was basically an AEM CAI for 01-02
would these fit a 99?
and if it didn't, are there any CAI's out there that do fit the 99 model?
thanks a lot

I have 99TL with AEM intake love sound when step on RPM sound Lound an Deep.
When installed on 99TL you have to know 1 main thing. Your Stock intake as 2 vacuum hole and *important part* 2 tube that connect in bottom on intake that go to a (look like) mimi radiator inside intake. Just pull out one end out and bypass straight to other end( Be carefull tube as coolant inside maybe hot).

YES it works, you dont have to cut anything, it'll fit like magic, just be cautious when you take the stock intake off, when you pull the lines...coolan WILL GUSH OUT...you cant prevent it, just clean it up and bypass it with the peace that comes with the intake.
peace.
peace.
