99 3.2 TL new here!
Hey all,
I have owned my 99 TL since 06. Bought her in Seattle, Wa with 33k, and now just hit 107k! I absolutely love this car, it is such a great road vehicle, nice styling!
I am looking to maintain her and keep things flowing smoothly. So, I just did my 105k timing belt, water pump, etc. I did replace the front & side motor mounts as well. I am going to need to do some suspension work soon, gathering idea's off this site, great info! As for the tranny, well its the original, and shifts smoothly, I have done regular fluid changes and no sign of failure yet...
Other than that all I have had to do on this vehicle is brakes, and oil changes, and one headlight bulb. 
Not bad for how old this car is, heck even the paint is still holding well.

99 have a better trans- you will be fine
expect the ignition switch to fail again- should have been done once under recall
Do the egr port cleaning and its passageway thru the intake manifold
another `99 only recall` cleaned it and installed a smooth bore thru the port to cylinder but still gets clogged every 75kmiles on 00+ cars- sooner for 99s with only 1 port

many are losing headlight ballast these days from moisture inside lens drips out onto ballast and fries it!
www.hidextra.com is a sponsor here and has prices I cant explain and didnt complain about well under 100 bucks for 2 new ballast- ignitors- and bulbs
ALWAYS replace bulbs in pairs to maintain equal brightness and color
