I have a 2003 TL and I like this front end a lot more. I've looked around trying to find if anyone has swapped this style onto an 02 or 03 TL but found nothing. So I decided to post here and see if anyone has done it before.

 

From looking at fender replacements from the junkyard, I at least know that the headlights, bumper line, fenders, and hood are all different on the '99 model so you'd have to swap them all at once. I'm not sure if the bolts line up, but I can check it out next time I'm at the junkyard.

 

hi! i actually did it on my 2000 tl last year. what you'll need are the fenders, headlights, hood, grille, hood latch, radiator support, and bumper. miscellaneous parts and bolts as well. i really only did it bc i got into an accident and i managed to get my hnds on an 02 tl for $500 with a busted tranny lol. i had to weld the hood latch to support the new hood since the old one was in a different spot. if you choose to go through with it, good luck!

edit: just saw that what you want to do is the complete opposite LOL. it should be relatively the same process tho.

 

I feel like they should probably bolt right up, I might go to a junkyard and take a look that's not a bad idea. I need new bumpers since mine are pretty beat up and I'd like to do a front end swap if possible before painting the car.
