99-01 cd player interchangable w/ 02-03?

99-01 cd player interchangable w/ 02-03?
My 6 disc cd changer gave out in my TL. Just wondering if the 99-01 cd player will plug into my 02-03 harness. thanks

yes it will but u wont have the 6dics cd changer

I wouldnt. You will loose the 6 disk feature and the 99-01 headunits have a VERY hard time reading burned discs. Find a 02-03 HU

thats what I just found out the diff was.. i really love the indash cd changer..i guess ill pay the extra 100 for an 02-03
