98 Civic Hatch( project ) Turbo or All Motor?
Was looking to purchase a race car... Found a cherry 98 hatch for 7 grand. 35 k miles...
Should I :
1) Put B18C GSR and Turbocharge it?
2) H22 all motor ???
My friend has a good friend who does fabrication. Hes talking about going all motor...
Id still like to have a turbo GSR in a little hatchback...
Anyone have experience in this field. What is your opinion for all you import fanatics.

all motor would be awesome if you could do it right. it is a lot more difficult though, and the performance will be limited.
going turbo, theres a ton more power, but you'll be like every other civic on the tracks.
nothing wrong with going either way. but if you have the means, and a reliable mechanic at your disposal, i vote all motor

I think im goin turbo w/ low boost due to the fact that I dont own a truck or a flatbed. The 10 sec all motor will be my next project.
I just want a reliable race car that can be street driven...

7 grand is a lil high huh considerin ur goin to swap out the engine rite? i mean i would swap it out for maybe a gsr block and turbo that sucker or go with an all motor JDM H22A with plenty of goodies
