Not sure about the difference, but I do know they are different. I believe the spring rate and weight rating for the front are different.

I wouldn't recomended putting it on your TL. You might get a bumpy or harsh ride.

not recommended, thats y there are 4cyl and 6cyl springs. If it didnt matter they would just have one that fit both.

I have the H&R race springs for 98+ Accord, but for V6. DO NOT GET THE 4 cyl race springs, as it is not safe with our V6 engines. Return it for a refund if you already bought it! FYI, my TL is 1999.

Race springs gives you a "slammed" look, and of course the ride will be more harsh and bumpier than your regular sport springs. It takes some getting used to, but well worth it in terms of better cornering and looks. The race springs lowers your front by 2.2", and your rear by 1.75". No wheel gap front or rear.

yea i know that the drop of the race springs will give u a nice drop with no gaps between the tires and fender. that is what im lookin for. i know that when droppin your car you are already ruinin your ride so im ready to face that because i have drop car in the pass with coilovers and those are as bad as it gets . . . HhAha
patrick . . . when you say not safe for our engine . . what you mean?
i think i will just put it on and see how they work out and if they sucks then i can always sell it back and get the v6 springs. hmm i got them in ptown for a pretty good price and its a hassle for me to go back down there to return it.

Same as what Bitium said above - spring rate and weight ratings are different. If you install the 4 cyl H&R race springs, you will not get the optimum handling, and that can be dangerous if you are taking corners or make high speed turns. Just imagine what would happen if your springs crap out when your going over 60+ mph! :wow: Strongly recommend that you don't install them. Yeah, it may be a pain in the butt to bring it back due to the distance, but hey, your life is important too. Good luck whatever you decide.

NO

No, The 98 accord wights less which means that the springs are smaller. That also means the springs will colapse under the wight of a tl. the only springs that would fit, are off of or for a v6 accord.

there is a guy with an accord v6 and he has the accord 4 cylinder on and it just dropped his car 1/4 inch more. i will just try them out cuz i really want them on. if i dont like i could take it out and get a new set later. i been waitin so long for them and i have no patiences left . . .
patrick . . . i dont think i will be doin turns at 60 mph so i dont need to worry bout any problems then. i know life is important but it wont hurt for couple weeks right
2k3tl . . . the springs are the same size and no possible way that my car would collaspe because shocks also help hold up the car.
