well...i was rushing to church yesterday morning...

i was doing 60 on bayview/yorkmills...a 35mph street b4 i went on the hwy and there was a brand new 911 with HID lights following me and both switching lanes for passing...

about to the hwy 401 ramp at bayview...i was barely pass the yellow traffic light (almost red) but the 911 behind me just passed thru...um..well...we both went on the ramp

i was doing 55 on the 30mph ramp and suddenly i saw he was soooo close to my tail...

see...he's challenging me and i was in hurry..so why not? there are no police on sunday mornings..

down to third on the ramp and gave two third throttle...he was still there...but then lane merging ahead so i slip thru the traffic and i was able to pulled 4 lanes at one time to the fast lane...

at that time i already hit 100mph at 3rd and the 911 couldn't make it coz he couldn't find a space to slip thru...
by then i was doing 90 all the way and never saw him again

 

I have smoked a 911 before also... GOOD KILL!! my friend didn't believe me though he thinks since it says "porsche" that it is unbeatable or something... LOL! Unless it's got turbo you have a real good chance!

but that reminds me of a classic 911Turbo story in Taiwan.

A guy was driving a Saab 9-5 Aero, and saw a Porsche 911 TT, the 911 driver was doing 100km nice and easy... then bam all of a sudden a Civic fly by and cut in between the 9-5 and teh 911. and starts to flash it's head light @ the 911. Now the driver just switched lanes and ignored the Civic. But I guess the driver got fed up with the Civic after like 10 mins.

So, the next thing you know WOT. Then it waited for the civics. The civics caught up, then the 911 rolled down the window you see a very skinny hand with thumbs down. The driver was a woman.... for minutes the Civic just can't get past the 911tt, and she let them know that you got smoked by a female... then WOT again, she's gone...

in a 1 on 1 race, you would not even be able to say you tried to race him... cutting accross a couple lanes of traffic so he cant give his car gas to smoke you doesnt constitute a good kill, just a lucky day...

our cars are nice, can be quick, but will never be race cars

wow you have "won" in a contest of extreme speed and daring risk taking involving only yourself. It must have been due to the your luck of some civic blocking the way of the 911 who wasn't even racing you. To him you are just anohter can on the road. This is what the civic ricers must be thinking when they are passing me at 100 mph weaving on the highway.

 

Well, some of the members here want to believe they have EXOTIC machinery, while those who have a grip on reality know we have a nice sedan thats quick, comfortable and roomy but not about to blow away a 911 Porsche or Callaway Corvette. Face it, we got the big Honda (ok, the second biggest Honda). That's not a bad thing, but when you think you are going to beat a Porsche, next you'll be waiting for Heather Locklear to call and ask for a date. : )

Dude, a 2002 911 Turbo is 431hp...and it's light..a lot lighter than TL/TLS and it's rear wheel drive...sport suspension and all the craps...if he was really racing you, you won't be getting smoked..you'll get raped...anywhere..anytime...

Advice to AK MOBBER, don't ever repeat that you killed a porsche, any porsche, because you sound like a complete moron.
And SAM WKS, please, stop bragging about such a stupid story. You didn't win crap, the guy in the porsche was probably laughing so hard he let off on the gas. This is yet another idiotic kill story that makes me wonder about the mentality of some TL drivers. Most of us (hopefully) are intelligent enough to realize that our TL is a nice car, but not a porsche killer.

LOL, I LOVE these kill stories, any kill stories, because the story itself is irrelevant, it's the flamefest afterward that is pure entertainment.

Somebody needs to post a chart of what cars, with what mods is allowed to be the opponent for a kill story, and or which cars automatically make the kill "whack". I mean, if you don't post video, they're all whack, right, who's to know? This stuff kills me.

So, if some 70 year old geezer who can barely drive his Porsche out of the garage gets toasted, it's not a kill because the "431 hp" automatically hands him the victory. Let's face it, if the late great Dale Earnhardt was alive and kicking, you could put him in a Lincoln Continental and I'd bet he'd have given most of the studs here the race of their life if he took them on where there was either curves or traffic. The driver has something to do with it, right?

In other words, lay off the dude, if he thinks he won it, it's a kill to him. If I ever get some Ferrari Testarossa on the line and he starts up in a puddle of oil and spins all four while my big Honda sedan leaves him behind, that's a kill I'd laugh about for years.
