90k maintainance???

I have a 2000 TL coming up on 90k. Dealer recommended timing belt change and water pump change. Anyone has experience with this type of service? What's the ball park price for it?

So basically, the dealer wants you to do the 90K service, plus a new timing belt, and a new water pump? The reason I ask is because the 90K doesn't include those items according to the owners link.

90,000 miles/6 yrs Scheduled Maintenance
-Replace engine oil, filter and drain plug washer with Genuine Honda Parts.
-Inspect and rotate tires.
-Inspect wiper blades.
-Check/adjust fluid levels.
-Road test.
-Replace air filter with Genuine Honda Parts.
-Inspect belts, hoses, fuel lines and exhaust system.
-Inspect front and rear brake assemblies.
-Inspect steering system, suspension components, alignment and parking brake.

i wouldnt do the maintenance (thats a waste of money) oil yes if needed. just do the water pump and timing belt. you have to remove the belts and belt for the water pump and vice versa so do them both at the same time

Since I'm past my 6 minute editing window on my previous post, here's the price breakdown according to Pohanka Acura in Chantilly, the 90K runs $380, and the Timing Belt/Water Pump replacement (together) is $895. So, $1275 OTD.

holy crap that is a rip off...look for a Honda/Acura mechanic. From my experience, their prices are way cheeper and I feel like they value my business and care much more than the dealers do.
