8000+ FT = No Acceleration

Is it just my TL or does our cars loose total power in high elevation. High compression cause this? It was wierd, I was trying to keep up with a Triton V8. It was impossible.

High compression actually helps you in high altitude. The air is thinner so your car is actually leaning itself out to keep the right air fuel ratio. In general, you'll loose HP in high altitude. You should try driving with a carburated car at high altitude. They don't adjust fuel ratio like fuel injected cars can.

Add the Comptech supercharger and that will help at high altitude by cramming more air and fuel into cylinders

yeah hihg altitude sucks for sure, I live pretty hihg up here in Salt Lake, about 4000 ft above...I went to Cali this summer and noticed TONS more power...you just get more of that thicker sea level air into the chamber...
