So my car has reached 7500 miles and i don't really want to spend my money to bring it in to the dealership to them to basically "check out" my car. I heard that there is a way to turn off the maintenance require light. Can someone tell me how?

 

In the manual it tells you how to reset it. Hold the Select and Reset buttons while turning the key to On position and hold for 10 seconds. This is from memory since I don't have the manual or car with me right now.

 

The info is in the owners manual so you'll want to verify what I remember.

I believe you turn the key to the second detent while holding down the Reset and Select buttons for your odometer. Continue holding the buttons for a few seconds after that and it should reset.
