When i start the car my maintenence required light flashes , i just got an oil change done at a local shop about a 1000 miles ago, do i have to reset something or is the car due for something else as well? Any help will be appreciated

 

that has nothing to do with any thing on the car. its suposed to be reset at every oil change. its set for 7500 mile intervals (for the oilchanges) nothing but mileage will set it off.
