6sp Swap Using 04-06 TL 6sp Instead???
So here is a little more a technical question, 90% of my swap pieces are in short of the 10% which is the transmission. I've been looking for a few weeks but I haven't found a CL transmission I'm happy with for the price/miles.
So here is the technical question, I want to do the full on swap, not the RV6 harness, I want to swap ECM, harness' ect. I know many members have done this with a CL trans but can you do it with the 04-06 trans or is it going to throw all kinds of lights etc? I'm assuming if you can do it with a TL trans that you need to swap some sensors?
From looking up the part numbers I see they are close to the same:
20011-RDE-C62 (04-06 TL)
20011-PYZ-C62 (03 CL-S)
I'm sure there is someone out there who is much more knowledgeable then I about what all interchanges.
Any thoughts?

i dont believe anyone has actually done it yet...
many have said it can be done. but i dont remember anyone getting it put in.
you can use the 03-06 Accord V6 6 speed though, member HAVE done that one.

You can use the 3g transmissions. There's not much a difference if any at all.
The harness and everything else from the CL-S shall work. Rewiring will be the hard part, why don't you want to run the RV6 harness? It saves alot of time and money.
The transmission is just a mechanical part, One of my swapped friend's are running a '03 CL-S transmission in his 7th gen accord. (Wanted one with LSD)

Does anybody know anything about differences in gear ratios between the different transmission options? I imagine the CL-S would have shorter gears than the accord.

You'll have a constant code, 03 CLS 6 trannies are the only ones with the additional crank sensor on the clutch housing. If you're using the CL6 ECU you have to have the sensor as well as the CL6 flywheel, it has the timing tabs built onto it.
If you already have the CL6 flywheel, you could find a cheap Accord 6MT tranny and change the clutch housing to a CL6 one, then just pop the sensor into place.

No it's more a matter of time, the car has been sitting since December and I'm getting antsy. I would do the RV6 harness but he seems to be really behind on getting them out. How many people are waiting for a harness just on Acurazine?
If he could get one to me within the month I'd do it but I'm not sure it's a possibility. No offense ment to Richie, I know he's probably knee deep in requests for these things.

Yeah I was about to flame you then I realized that it is the forum software doing it.. try it. You can't put v6 performance (as one word) because they filter it out. I guess they don't like people linking to other forums so they treat it like a bad word.

That thread is painfully long, and mostly consists of people asking the same few questions over and over, 50% of which is "when will mine be ready?" :P
