6000k Fogs Are Amazzzzing!!
Despite the crappy weather here in NY I've managed to install my 6000k Fogs today! As some of you might now, I've just upgraded to the 6000k low beams and now got the matching fogs to go with it. It helps quiet a bit with the driving when I turn on my fogs, and I am no longer ashamed to turn my fogs on to that fugly looking yellow halogens. I recommend this mod to all TL owners!
Now my question to those of you, who have the 6000k fogs, even though the color match is very nice to the low beams, I feel that the fogs are a little whiter than being the bluish tint that 6000k should have. My low beams have that bluish tint and Im using the same bulb in my fogs, any one else have this problem?
My other question is... is there a way to angle the fog bulbs upward so that I can get more light projecting further outward, making use of my HID Fogs?
Pictures will come soon!!
Oh by the way, I saw a guy checking my car out when it was parked in a Hewlett Parking Lot, sunday night, right by the Hewlett Train Station. Smoking a Cigarette and walked around the car once. I think he/you drives the same TL I do, same color except he/you has the OEM Spoiler. If your on this board... holla!!

Not a good idea to try to aim the fog lights up, this will cause excessive glare to the oncoming traffic and this is one of the reasons that it is illegal to put HID on the fog lights.
Many try to upgrade their headlights to HID without taking in consideration that the housing and optics of them are not desinged for HID. Also, fog lights are made for a wide diffusion of light, if you want reach you need driving lights.
Again the bluish tint of the low beam is created by the bulb and the optics of the head light housing vice the whiter one from the fog lights, there is nothing you can do about that.
Take some pictures and let us see. Day/night.

Long Island Area, and I mounted the fogs right under my stock ballasts, velcro and some zip ties. Its secure enough. Follow the DIY instfuctons on the Inspired Acura site.

What is the brand of your 6000k lights? I got lights that claim to be a 7000k but they do not look that blue... but its still nice. It is not that hard to change the fog lamp... you might have to remove the entire fog lamp thingy though...

Rich: I may have seen Sandeep's a while ago, but that was before I thought about doing it myself.
I'll show up for a little LI mini-meet. Before the weather gets colder.

How about we meet up on a Sat. Sunday's are no good for me! We can meet up either by Alley Pond Park in Bellerose (union tpke and winchester blvd) or in bayside by the whitestone bridge, near the bayside marina. Throw out some ideas and dates and I'll be happy to help arrange something!

Saturday afternoon is a possiblity for me. By the whitestone bridge sounds good, what about towards the LI area on Sunday? Like lets say at Roosevelt Field Mall, but lets get a count of heads and see how many people are willing to do this.

Hey sorry for the late post, but Im using Phillips in both, top and bottom and the ballasts are phillips too.
And Ian Biz, it would fit in a 99 TL but I believe you dont have fogs right?? Not sure.. but the low beams should be the same to my knowledge.
