6000k bulbs, where?

Can you guys tell me where I can find 6000K D2R bulbs for my '99 TL? Are these legal in Canada? I figure if they are SAE and DOT approved in the states it should be legal too in Canada. Any help?

I believe this is what your looking for!

As for SAE and DOT approved. I don't think they are approved unless they are part of an autoleveling system. But I could be wrong!

OK, I just found out that 6000k is *NOT* DOT approved, thus not street legal. These are for off-road use only. Those with 6000k might be ticketed Oh well, so much for a possible upgrade :o

9005 is for high bream. 9006 is for '02 fogs, D2R is the HID. You can't fit 9006 to D2R socket. But I could be wrong since my TL is only '99 But I'm trying to get HID-like 9005 for my high beam (or Daytime running in Canada) so during the day my lights are not that yellow ugly color.

Ya...it says right on the bulb NOT FOR USE IN EUROPE/USA. As far as getting tickted, I dont think any cop would be intellingent enough to know the difference. Besides....6000k arent any brighter than 4300k, just a different color.
