hi everyone maybe its just a dumb though in my head but did anyone ever notice that it takes a lil while for the track to start to play...just wonerin cause ive had problems w the changer and and maybe it was related........thanks

 

Not sure what your problem is with the changer, but I would agree that the factory 6-disc changer is not fast when changing discs and playing tracks. I have had aftermarket changers in the trunk of previous cars which were quicker as far as changing discs and playing tracks, but with the size difference between the factory radio/cd-changer and the stuff I put in my trunk, i would think the factory changer is doing a decent job.

 

Yes..the factory unit is slow but this is normal........

 

is there a way to shuffle songs from all 6 discs? or is it just shuffle one disc at a time, play all songs, and move to the next disc?

 

Not sure, never really tried that before. Personally, I would think that can get pretty annoying. If we do have that option, considering how slow each CD loads, you'd get a long pause everytime the shuffle function kicks in and it's searching in a different tray.

Once a CD is playing the time between tracks is good... but switching between CDs does take a little bit of time.

As for the shuffle... the shuffle (or random) mode only works on the current CD.... so you cannot randomize between all 6 CDs... only the one you're listening to.....
