5th to 3rd

How often do you all shift from 5th down to 3rd to have alittle fun with SS and blow by someone? How bad is this for our transmissions?

ive been doing it for 184,600 miles now. sometimes even 5th to 2nd! its not bad for the tranny(not that any thing is Good for our tranny). if the speed doesnt permit it the computer wont let it happen.

I ain't got no 5th gear. But 4th to 3rd with a modded TL is saaawweeeet.

I do it every once and a while. Cruising at mild highway speed, drop down to third and lay on it. Car gets mean.
