56k vip

I have seen a lot of posts said "56k" , "no 56k" , "vip" ...etc. I believe these are the words to describe the car style? I assume vip ..means...the car drop it like really low, full body kit and chorme? What about 56k ? Anyone can explain or give me an idea of what it is...Thanks and appreciated...

the technology is growing... high speed is much more widespread, especially DSL with the low prices you can get it for. Then there is higher, high speed from cable that is a faster and more expensive alternative.

However, if you live in the middle of nowhere. You likely cannot get DSL or cable. The only option is satellite (with extremely slow uploads) or dial-up. ugh...
Some areas may have a wireless internet provider as well, but can also be expensive.
This often results is those people using dial-up.

(Obviously I've never researched this information)

Netzero for free with the permanent advertising banner on top, and 20 hours a week max to use. It was the shit.

Wow, no it isn't really, not for normal internet usage. I just know what I hear. I generally hear from fellow computer guys who do filesharing and ftp transfers and aren't happy unless they have 6MB down and 3MB up. oh well...

I would generally reccomend DSL or any lower cost internet to the average user (unless there's nothing else available) for the simple reason that they will never notice the speed difference between downloading at 1-2MB or 5-6MB service.

...IMO...
