So i called RallyE Acura in Long Island, NY. I was about to schedule for my 45k mile service untill this lady saids "Hold on, Let me transfer you" Then this dude comes on the fone and tells me its gonna cost 585? He told me a whole bunch of stuff that needs to be done but i cant remember it, is there ne way i can get my service done for cheaper? wth.. another place?

lol I did tranny flush and oil... and checked the air filter.. that was it....

i dont uunderstand... i juss went into my car and in my glove compartment, i took out the piece of paper that you get when u first purchase ur car... that sheet tells u when you need your services at what miles. I see that the 45k mile service is "C" package, the guy told me it was D. the price next to c package was only like $129, and EVEN if it was the D package.. the price was listed as $200 something.... Is the Dealer trying to jerk me? lol

A dealer service dept try to jerk someone around???? No!!!!, never.

Seriously, check your owners manual on what needs to be done at 45k miles. Most likely it's an oil change, tire rotate, and possibly some other fluid changes.

I always do stuff a la carte. My 30k service cost $45 at the dealer. I changed both filters myself ($35 there)

hahah ive been to rallye... those guys are fuckin assholes.. ALL the fuckin rallye dealers- acura, bmw, and mercedes.... dont go there, they tried ripping my dad off on his car... i only got my tranny replaced there i never went back there to get any services done... i get it done by my mechanic- i just show him the service sheet and he just does it all... dont get it done there they tryin to rip you off

No I asked for quotes for my 105,000 mile service deal. I probably wont do anything for another 10,000 miles.

This was the only dealer in Detroit to reply, What a ripp off!

If I were you I wouldnt do anything unless its in the manual for scheduled service. More than likely just change the oil and filter and you are fine.
