the only service maint that you need are oil and filter changes, and tranny flushes (and im starting to think thats a waste) the key maint to perform is the 100k timing belt, h2o pump and plugs

for the 75000 they pretty much just inspected the whole car : brakes, exhaust, underbody etc .. rotate tires, oil change. You dont really need maintentence till 100k but I drive a lot and I just drove across country and I felt it needed to be looked at

The 30K mile service on my dad's TL-S cost like $700 IIRC. I think they de-coked the throttle body or something like that, but it's a rip off. My dad almost threw a huge shit fit. Needless to say, we've been to a different dealer since.
45K mile service is now due, and no quote yet. It should be below $250 right? Otherwise I'd be right royaly pissed, especially since last time they replaced the brake pads when they had like 30% left on them.

The oil change is supposed to be included with any maintenance interval service. If they charge you on top of it, they're crooks.
I brought mine in for the 48k KM service and they charged me $480.00 Canadian. When I freaked (I really did), they indicated that they flushed the brake system "as per MY request" (bogus). When I said I never requested it, and asked to see the manager, they dropped the oil flush charge (but indicated that the brake fluid was 'dark' and needed replacement anyway) and never gave me a feedback card (they knew what I was going to say).
It's only this one and the 100K service that is really steep, that's probably why they try to make money when they could.
