3G TL steering wheel on 2G TL will it work

Since no one is interested n buying the 3G steering wheel I have for sale, im wondering if it will fit on my car, does anyone know off hand before I start tearing stuff apart....

well, the steering wheel definitely fits, and looks great, im unsure of the steering wheel cntrols working since my cruise control and radio aren't working, I don't really care to try to figure out the wiring.
also im unsure of the airbag, since that doesn't work on my car either lol..... but hey, it looks cool lol.

The wire isn't a problem at all.......
You could bring your car to a shop and they will modulate it...but airbag

The air bag wouldnt work in your car unless you trick it to. The 99-01 have single stage airbags. The 02+, 3rd gen have dual stage.

nah the buttons arent functional just cause i dont care to take the time to figure out the wiring, especially since my cruise control doesnt work, nor does my stereo..... but im sure it possible.

if the 02+ air bags have the same dual stag design then i should b str8 but i may have to figure out that wiring. That thing looks good and helps advance the interior slightly. Plus the 3rd gen wheels are so much easier to find
