3A Tips and you're going to laugh
Okay this might be a funny question but has anyone else with 3A Tips notice that after a long drive (30mins or more) that the tips have gotten longer? Then after cooling off the tips would shrink back to orignal size? Insert your joke here ______
I asked this question becuz I installed the tips to be flush with the lip kit and after driving I thought somehow they had come loose becuz they were about inch longer past the lip kit. But then like hour later they were flush with the lip kit again...
It doesn't bother me, but I just found it interesting...now everyone with 3A tips go check lol

It's all in your head...Your muffler tip will never become even close hot enough to expand an inch in length. It is entirely not possible whatsoever. Unless your exhaust is pushing out gasses close to 1500 degrees farenheit, you will not see an expansion like that. If your exhaust could possibly expand this length, it would also expand in width as well...meaning there is no possible way your exhaust expanded an inch in length only. The most your exhaust could have expanded is in fractions of millimeters.

The expansion theory makes sense! I swear it does expand and is longer than original after a drive. Maybe not a while inch, but at least a bit and I doubt they vibrated off, because I have them on pretty tight.
NO! Expansion is not a 2-dimensional quantity. If it did in fact expand that much longer, it would have expanded equally in width and fallen off your car.
SOOOOOOOOO
no no, buddy... but we appreciate you looking stupid as u defeat your own retarded theory.
if expansion is all directions (accurate) the wouldn't it stay on the header more tightly. yes expansion, what a wonderful thing.
I don't know about an inch, but expansion definitely occurs.... I think actual curvature of the exhaust pipe as a whole may play a role.
