My car is 2002 TLS.
Acura dealer (East Brunswick, NJ) charges me $465+tax for 30k miles service. Is it fair? How important is this service? Do I really need to do that?

I don't think it is necessary for the 30k miles service. I didn't do it on mine because of the high cost. Basically, they fill up the fluids, change the tranny fluid and rotate tires and minor checks. If I were you, just do the tranny fluid and rotate the tires and check all the other fluids yourself.

 

honda/acura shop in texas charge 225$ for 30k service. it includes every single item the dealer does and they actually have photocopy of the dealer check ist & they use that as their checklist.
