Unless you have a ton of money to burn on cars, then yes you are. Get a nice Civic, possibly the Hybrid.

I dont think you are nuts. You gotta drive wherever you need to go. I did just shy of 24k miles this year. Unfortunately like you, i have long commutes and a zillion other places to go every week. <p>
I am not sure i understand the previous reply to your post about buying a civic or something??? What is that supposed to mean? Why should you drive a cheap car just because you drive more. The TL is a fancy Honda so if the impliction is that you should drive a reliable nameplate, then you already are.

You're not nuts. I already put 22K miles on my car since I bought it near the end of Feb and am sure I will have put well over 30K miles by the end of the year. I just have places to go and a long drive to work, etc. That's why I bought an Acura...the engine will outlast the electrical, leather, etc...I'm planning on over 200K miles out of it the way I'm going.

78K on my '99. Keep the fluids changed (esp tranny) and use good gas and everything will be fine

I'm just trying to say that at the rate he is going a 5-year-old TL with 150,000 miles on it can't be worth too much. If he's willing to take that depreciation then he should keep the TL. Otherwise get something cheaper.

You gotta love 75 mile commutes (both ways) to work 5 days a week, bought my 99 tl in April, I put 14,000+ on it already.

I love driving my TL and it shows. I put on 25K miles on my first year. Now I have ~ 67K and it's a 99 TL.

BTW, cars are meant to be driven.:p

Are you nuts? I think not. I bought my car on 12/2/01 and already have 18,700 miles. I expect to have 22,500 miles by 12/2/02. I, too have a long-a$$ commute.

I love every second in this car. If the tranny holds, I plan on keeping it for 4-5 years.

I bought my car 6/18/02 and I have 6200 miles on it. That's not too too bad, but it's bad enough.

No you're not nuts. I say 'if you're paying for it, use it'. I got ~8800 miles on my '03 TL-P since 7/03. My CL-S had ~34k miles in 10 months.
