I prefer the 2nd generation TL to the 3rd. The 4th is little evil looking. I think it has to be when you want to seek and destroy those A4 and 3 series.

I initally liked the second generation car better but as time goes by and car design changes, I think the 3rd generation looks better and I have both a second and 3rd generation machines. Don't get me wrong, both cars are classy and elegant but the 3rd gen will grow on you. For some crazy reason, the second generation car seems faster but Acura's disposable transmission system is a big problem for 2nd generation cars. What a screwed up company for not fixing this problem. :tflamer:

A small percentage of 350z owners are having tranny problems just like how we have tranny problems. So Nissan must also be a screwed up company..right? Seems like you have a lot of shit to talk about Acura, yet you continue to support and purcahse Acura cars..

i'm a jdm head, and since there's no way to jdm a 3rd gen, i'll stick wit my 2nd gen...all that crazy gadgets in the interior i can put together myself with some money and aftermarket electronics...

Yes, I do have a lot of shit to say about acura second generation beacuse acura is not taking care of it's customers by not correcting the trannny problems and I will continue having shit to say until the problem is resolved...The second generation is an elegant car with many positive attributes. It really seems faster than my 04. I have not experienced the transmission problem yet.
I have owned Acuras for years and the 02 is the first one that is not reliable.
Instead of flaming me, you should get with it and use this forum constructively to express your opinion to let Acura know that they should fix the tranny problem. Acura will do more if they get enough pressure from owners like you and I. :bowdown:
