So I bought the brand new v 2.40 Black Navigation upgrade DVD a few weeks ago. It is a huge upgrade from my 2.2 version but the POI are still lame. Maybe I am not using it correctly but finding places still sucks on it. For instance...if i want to find a Pep Boys I type in Pep Boys in the "name search" area and it finds a pep boys in Texas 1500 miles away. Even if im right in the damn pep boys parking lot. It is like this for ALOT of other places. Best buy, blockbuster, etc. Never comes back with the closest one. And also searching "advanced categories" doesnt work well either. For instance if i wanted to search for an auto parts store what do i search under? Anyone else have these issues? I drove an 07' TSX with the new acura navi and it was 1000 times better.

 

dont know any thing about our navis but i doubt it will ever be nearly as good as the newer acuras navis.
