2nd Gen J35 6 Speed Swap AEM EMS 2

Hello Guys,
I hate to start another thread but I have ran into another issue with my swap. After completing the 6 speed swap with the AEM EMS 2 and drove it around for a while I decided to take out the old J32 and replaced it with a J35A4, while doing that I went ahead and replaced the 99 TL engine harness with a harness off a 02/03 TL base model so that I could get my speedo working again.

Well now that everything is completed, the car won't start. It turns but it just won't start, anyone knows if there is something that may need to be changed in the 02-03 TL harness to get the car started?

Thanks

What engine harness did you run the AEM with?

Originally, I was running the 99 TL-P harness but that harness does not have a plug for the speed sensor on the 6 speed tranny so I swapped it for a newer model one.

It runs fine with the 99' harness?

If anything, some sensors on the J35 aren't the same as the J32

it did ran good on 99 harness, it took a couple seconds to start once i turned the key but it started.

we swapped the crank sensor from the j32 onto the j35 and still no fire

02' Odyssey front cam sensor - 37773-P8B-305
99' TL front cam sensor - 37773-P8E-A01
02' TL front cam sensor - 37773-P8E-A01

Odyssey cam pulleys:

F - 14260-P8A-A01
R - 14270-P8E-A01

99' TL

F - 14260-P8A-A01
R - 14270-P8A-A01

02' TL

F - 14260-P8A-A01
R - 14270-P8E-A01

Your issue is more than likely the front cam sensor

Thanks for all your help, swapped the sensor but still no fire.
My mechanic may have figure it out, seems we need to make the AEM think its running in an Odyssey instead of TL. Will cal AEM and see if it can be done
