200k mile maintenance PLZ READ!!!!

I think this is the appropriate place on the forum to post this :x and if it isnt, sorry haha. So it's that time guys. 200k maintenance. I am trying to get all the parts I need and I need your guys' help. I'm looking for a hook up with parts mostly. If anybody has any connections or anything, that would help me out greatly. I'm counting on the acurazine community to help a fellow aziner haha. Thank you guys and I hope to hear from somebody soon Oh btw, any information about the 200k tune up from you guys that have already done it would be nice. Any issues or recommendations or suggestions would be great! Thank a lot guys!

Best prices on parts I've seen for this service: www.rockauto.com

Get the Gates brand parts and you should be fine. Don't let anybody tell you that OEM is the only way to go because it's not. Have fun!

its the same service as the 105,,see our diy or gen3 has an excellent write up

wholesalepartsguy, an acura sponsor of this website that cuts a deal runs a special package 295$ for the 105 kit

you will want to add a few things to it, do all the tensioners and roller pullies
get valve cover gaskets and adjust the valves

seafoam it before service
change spark plugs yourself- NGK Iridium IX ,save big on parts and labor

Buy some beer to celebrate a job well done....or to drown your sorrows when you realize you screwed up and have to take everything back apart.

ok guys. I have been very busy, but the time is approaching for the service. I am requesting a parts list for the service PLZ I am not going with wholesalepartsguy because I have some other websites to use that are cheaper and I'm tight on money. I'm really just looking for somebody that has done it already and has some hints or tips or ideas on the whole thing. I know it's a big favor but any info would help. I want to do it right the first time. I know the usual fluid changes and timing kit and pumps and plugs and wires and all that good stuff (thats a lot of and's haha,) but just want to know anything else. Details. THANKS A LOT GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the diy section has all you need with a list of required and smart to replace now parts
at least the t-belt idler pulley!
the cam seals replace- no,

do valve adjust later along with egr port cleaning
use that rockauto link- they may have coupons online and are trusted sellers
gates belts are fine- use them all the time when I was in the biz

replace the spark plugs if closing in on 100kmiles on them
Seafoam will do wonders at making the car run like new
