2007 Honda Civic aftermarket Exhaust/smog check Question
I wanted to find out some info from my friend and I wanted to hear from some real life experiences from the TL community which I imagine at least half of us has owned a civic. I have a friend that is really paranoid about not being able to pass emissions / smog check when installing an aftermarket exhaust.
Which aftermarket brand exhaust/model causes no effect when trying to pass smog (from personal experience)
If yes:
1. what kind of piping do you have
2. what other mods did you have (bolt ons etc)
3. when did you have the smog done
My friend was also asking me about a special fabrication to switch from stock exhaust to modified exhaust with a simple bolt on. Some exhaust shop said he could do something like that for $500. So I tried to simplify this by just finding an aftermarket exhaust that is guaranteed to pass smog.

if it stilll has a good cat on the car, even if he has a cat-back system, it should be fine and pass, unless the car has major problems with it, what state are you in?
