well anyone with a stock TLS or a modified TLP that thinks they can take an '05 g35 coupe or sedan must be dreaming...One of my dad's friends got the new coupe - shit I thought I was in a fast ass real sports car - Vette style
Our cars are quick and nice, but have no chance against one of those cars w/o some serrious FI, that being said, I still love my car - for what it is though

2004 sedan/coupe vs. 2005 sedan/coupe - there gots to be some dead giveaways.
Can't wait to see the 3rd gen TL take on some horsepower upgrades to complete with the G35 Skyline, anyone happen to have pics or info on the G35 skyline?

Driving the 05 G35 will definitely put a smile on your face, alot like a blow job from a fat girl.
One word, NISSAN. What the M45 has, the 35 lacks. All the lux everybody's talking about in the 05 makes the G35 feel like a Maxima

In response to the original question, 04 G35 sedan vs a TL-S...I am sorry to say that the TL-S will get walked on, stock for stock. The gearing that the G35 has will continue to pull in the third gear whereas our cars will start to lose acceleration in our third gear. I tried this out when I was stock and now that I am modified, I am still barely pulling away from these guys. Just my experience.

its not all about math, power modification increases in HP are not really stackable gains. its a good race, not an ass kickin' thas all im tryin to say, ive been in those races

you guys are just talking drag racing though... how about some turns? me thinks RWD > FWD...
and to the person that was talking about NISSAN, how about HONDA? isn't the TL-S made in the US? all G35s are made in japan... not that i'm saying that US made cars suck but oh wait that is what i'm saying lol...
you can probably tell I own a G35 lol but a coupe not the sedan. My parents have the TL-S and its definitely a good sport sedan. I actually prefer it to the G35 Sedan. I think the G looks good as a coupe but as a sedan it doesn't do anything for me... the TL-S with the OEM bodykit though looks 10x better IMO... great all around car and i love the shift knob lol
ok flame away
