Exclamation 2003 TL-S - Spark Plug Replacement

My car is cooling off as we speak. It's only obvious that the front 3 plugs will take me like seconds to install.

Now the back 3 look like a challenge. I DID do a forum search and did find multiple answers and alternatives to my question!

" Above the spark plugs is the "IMRC motor", do I run the risk of damaging anything by removing that?"

Yes I do have a 10" extension for my ratchet, I did buy NGK spark plugs and sea foam. Am I on the right track.

Ohhhh, I am at 158,000 with out ever changing the spark plugs, I recently have noticed BAAAADDD gas mileage...

I didn't have to remove anything. Just bent the ps hose bracket a little bit.

DON'T use the 10" extension. It'll never work, particularlly with the plug on the back left (as you face the engine). You need a 3" and a 6". You put the plug socket with the (??) 6" extention in the plug hole, then add the 3" then connect the ratchet.

Reverse to install BUT start ALL the new plugs by hand to avoid cross-threading.

and you need a little patience on the back passenger side plug. Just did mine yesterday. Have fun.

yeah man i figured that out the hard way. i seen the 6" extension and thought nahhh, the 10" should work....pep boys is only a 3min drive... i went ahead and replaced the front 3 and my car has a steady/smooth idle..the spark plugs were bronze! i drove it and i feel more power kinda...i wouldn't be surprised if i had a couple or even a few faulty plugs...im not gonna drive it till i replace the other 3 sometime this week..
