2003 TL out next week
From Vtec.net.....
http://www.vtec.net/news/
Sales of the Acura 3.2 TL luxury performance sedan also continued strong with January sales of 4,447 units. The 2003 3.2 TL goes on sale next week.
Any idea of any new features, or is it just going to be a carry over like the 01-02 CL?

I heard that the 2003 TL was to be a redesign. This was in Motortrends sneak peak at the 2003 models. I also heard from my Acura dealer that the new model wasn't supposed to come out until April or May. So, no telling what's going on.
I just purchased a 2002 last week. I was considering waiting until the 2003, but the timing wasn't soon enough. I had already sold my 1992 Prelude and was borrowing a car until my 2002 TL arrived.

What's with this new trend of introducing cars a full year or more before their actual model year?
All I know is that I have 35000 miles on my CL and its a 2001. Now, looking at that from a strict viewpoint, I have put almost 35000miles/year on my car.
At this current rate, we'll be seeing 2010's in about 2006!
This seems especially odd for a car like the TL that is just going to have some refreshments. I would think that this would mean the redesign of the 2004 will be availible in the beginning of 2003.
Hmmmmm.

I to do not understand this method of doing things....I at first thought that they were just doing it for models that are signifigently updated or refresed, like the 01 CL comming out in spring of 00 and the 02 TL comming out in spring 01, but now that this is comming out in FEB. 02 for an 03 that is the same as before but with onstar, i just dont understand that...and then figure out why the 02 NSX came out in Jan. of 02...Acura realy needs to wake up and just bring all their cars out at one time, in the fall when everyone else does.
