2003 TL is the car to get
I believe that the 2003 TL is the car to buy if you are looking to upgrade. From what I have seen from the 2004 TL prototype pics and as well as the Accord and TSX, the new TL is gonna be FUGLY.
I believe that time will prove the 99-03 TL design to be a timeless classic. I liken it to the Legend coupe from the early 90's and the Nissan 300ZX body style of the mid 80's. These are classic designs that will never fade. I'm sure you can name others, and I am convinced that the current body style will never become dated.

Yes I think that the 99-01 design will easily hold its value over the years. Plus the fact that it looks wicked with a body kit! I seem to feel that all the car companies are taking the designs of their new cars and turning them into fugly cars. The new accord looks good from the front but the rear looks like:yack: So to me, any many other people the previous gen accord is more appealing to the eye. I hope acura doesn't screw this one up a lot of people are counting on the production TL to A. look great B. Have more power C. have a sweet ass interior
and also:
no rattles
not tranny bs
better brakes

With all due respect, I have to kindly disagree w/ you guys. The TL is a great car, no doubt. During it's release, it was the most powerful car in it's class, loaded to the brim (except navi), yet priced lower than some bare boned stock vehicles of the same venue.
However, IMHO the car is starting to show it's age. The new TSX looks modern and implements (without a doubt) more modern technologies. Lastly, the new TL concept looks out of this world, the future looks bright for Acura/Honda.
My 2 cents.
