We just sold our 99 Outback Limited and purchased a 2003 TL, after reading some of the posts here I'm alittle scared, Our Outback never saw a dealer till we sold it and figured Acura being related to Honda would be same, I am wondering what problems anyone has had with the 2003 TL, I was told the tranny was updated in 2003? We love this car, no rattles, enough power, We are easy on brakes so they will not be a problem, our cars are babied. I hope to see more satisfied owners, take care

 

Rattles don't come until about 10 months to a year later. I'm going to bring mine in for the rattles from the sunroof and seatbelts soon. As for the tranny, you now have a 7 year/100k mile warranty on it, so you shouldn't loose any sleep.

 

By the way has anyone tried using LED Lites in the front and rear turn lights? also the tail lights? I have replaced the fog light bulbs with silverstars and they are somewhat closer looking to the HID headlights, again thanks
