At the sf/bayarea meet I was talking a guy Van who wanted to do that too. He was talking with the service guys at Mike Harvey in Burlinghame and they said that everything should just bolt on. The mount points are the same. But it will cost you some money. Probably equivalent to getting into an accident and having to replace all those front end parts: hood, bumper, lights, left/right front quarters, etc.

It all adds up...

If so, then I would love to get a 2002 type S and have the 99-01 front. I think the new front is kinda nasty...

 

I love the look of the 2002 when it has the body kit installed.

You're talkin about huge money here...
replacing bumper,h/l,hood,fender,grille...so on....and have them painted....... I am sure you will have to spend at least 4 or 5 grand for it.....

 

Thanks for all the replys' for those that were wondering about the accident, i was in one, and that's why i'm considering it. i hope the bolt on thing works out for me then. I'll post pictures up when its finished. PEace

 

i want to put on a 2002 type S front on my 2000 Tl. I was wondering if it is possible to buy and bolt on. If anyone knows some info on this please let me know thanx.

I think 2002 front looks ugly, why would anyone wanna change to it?
