Hey what’s up Acuraziners , so first and foremost want to say thanks for all the knowledge and education most of y’all be teaching on here. And with that being said here we go
so todays project is a 2002 Acura TL-S with a whole lot of tranny problems so our solution to this problem was to swap it with a 3rd gen TL / 7th gen av6/03-07 oddly the most desirable of those trannys would probably be the 06-07 accord v6 tranny . They all bolt up identically but for the oddly tranny you have to loop the power steering line but with all of them you HAVE to swap out your transmission fluid housing. As well as the range sensor that was on the previous transmission. Besides that it was one of the easiest swaps I have don’t on a Honda/acura Where my thumb and pointer finger are on

now if you use the torque converter that came off the 3rd gen tranny then you need the flex plate with it as well
