No way man, not here, not me. Big investment, for what return over how much time?

I understand your angle, but I am ok with the fuel mileage I get. You will lose performance also. CNG is also pricey. Can you get a tax break?

not really a big tax break..but the cng converion itself and my independance from gas will get me alot more relief
its about $2.30/gallon (compared to gas at 3.5, its about 4.50 in ny today)
right now i have to really limit my use of the car...

How much initial cost? How much economy/mileage do you lose using CNG. Work out the cost of conversion, as your overhead, then figure out how long (based on current prices) it would take to pay it off, including your tax break. If it is paying off considerably sooner than you plan on getting rid of the car, then you are a winner, unless you are a speed freak, which is certainly not the case if you are thinking this way.

dont do it. i bet youll run into problem later on. and you cant buy cnc fuel everywhere. if u get a pumping station (cost a couple of thousand) you will get a tax break. over a long period of time it might pay off.

+1... it may not seem practical or worth it to all, but you can always give it a shot. It's your money and your car.
