2002 Low Beam Headlight Help
Just bought a used 02 3.2TL and occasionaly the passenger side headlight doesn't come on. This is only when it's in lowbeam mode. When I go to high beams, all four lights come on. Just now and then the low beam doesn't come on. Anyone have any ideas as to why this happens? In hoping there's a simple solution. Your advice is most appreciated!

Hey Carmis, while it may be possibly as simple as a poor connection or ground, chances are the the HID low beam bulb may be going bad.
How does it appear in color when it does work ? First check the connections and grounds, then if the problem persists.....try a known good
bulb to replace the one on the effected side. Also inspect the HID components for signs of moisture, which will cause issues.
There are more tips within the "DIY" sticky. Also try a search on this.

Boy 3.2, , your just always so helpful! Ill take a look. It's so damn tight down there. I was actually adjusting my headlight angle on that side, I can't seem to get to the drivers side without removing some odd looking plastic shield first. Maybe something I'd just loose.ill try. Thanks! !!

you need a new HID `kit` try our vendor www.hidextra.com mention acurazine for 15% off the unreal low price of $59 USD for 2 new bulbs 2 ballast 2 power leads
we have a major prob with moisture in the headlight drips onto ballast and fries it
get 5000k bulbs
remove nose of car to do the job--easy= see diy section
tip- to adjust height find V groove on back of housing- has < > arrows on top to show how to operate
slide + screwdriver down the raised V channel direct to gear--rotate screwdriver as indicated and adjust light
always replace bulbs in pairs,,see any thread on headlights for more info

Hello.. sorry to drag up an old thread. hidextra.com does not seem to have 2003 TL Low-beam kits. Am I missing something? Does someone else have these? One of my bulbs has winked out but unsure if just the bulb at this time.
