2001 suspension question

I recently drove a friends 2010 Accord with 40K miles and the ride was incredible. I know suspensions have changed a lot in the 9 years between our cars but what can I do to my 01 with 179K miles to make the ride smoother? I'm thinking it might be the bushings?? No clue.

any suggestions?

If your suspension is all original at 179K miles, in addition to inspecting all the various bushings, ball joints, and tie rods for wear and tear, you should also be looking at replacing struts and stabilizer bar end links.
