2001+Body Kit+Springs?
Hello my peoples,
I need some of your valuable advice.
I drive a 2001 TL with a oem body kit. I want to drop it now. I will be keeping the stock rims for a long, long, long time. No money
Here are my chocies so far
Comptech- F1.75/R1.5
H&R- F1.75/R1.75
*Eibach- F1.2/R1.1
I thinking of geting the eibach for safety, but if I could put on a 1.7in drop with no probs I will do it.
Who here has been through this with the stock rims.
This is now a game of how low can you go without fear.

I have a 99, same as 01TL with Comptech springs and the OEM body kit. I've had the springs for over a year so the settling should have stopped.
The lowest point on the front bumper is 6" off the ground. I don't drive my car in the snow, but I would be a little worried if I hit a chunk of snow that maybe fell off someone's car. Ya know that black nasty snow that collects in the wheel wells.

the eibach's according to the manufacture is 2.1/1.7 and after installing them on my car the measurements I took came pretty close to what they claim. I now have 2002 TLS rims on but the overall diameter of the tire/wheel is the same as stock. no rubbing but extreme care must be taken when exiting steep drive ways.
