2001 Acura 3.2 TL - Paint Job Cost?
Hello, all! I hope you all are having a good day. Currently, I own a white 2001 Acura 3.2 TL (as seen in the thread title) and am wondering how much a paint job would cost? When I got it, the paint on the bottom of the car was already peeling - showing yellow - and has gotten worse. The rest of the paint was rusted, and has one "deep" mark (only showing black) on the front bumper. My question is, if I go to a shop, how much would the cost be to fix it? Just a rough estimate; however, I am more than willing to paint the car on my own, but if I feel like I might mess up on one of the processes, I'd rather go to a professional.
P.S. I do not have the pictures right now, but I will post them if asked for.

depending on what you want; it can get expensive, quickly.
if you just want the car presentable; MAACO would be the cheapest place at around $1000-2000 depending on package and or prep work.
here's where it gets expensive...
prep work isnt cheap. it's hundreds of hours of labor.
a great prep job and paint job will cost in excess of $5k.
in other words; you'll need to visit shops to get quotes of the work and details of what the work entails....
because there are wide variances in prep work...some can do half ass jobs for less than $5k...

You can always swing by the store to grab some sandpaper and plastidip and do it yourself! Won't look like oem at all but it'll be very presentable of done right!

They pretty much covered it all but I repainted my TL a year and a half ago, and personally won’t do it again unless I get tired of the color lol but it was a lot of work for sure gonna be a easy 2-4K investment
I only paid around 550 with all my materials and did the job myself, check out my thread to see some details
