2001 3.2 TL Multiple Missfiring

I have a 2001 3.2 TL with 142k miles. The car is misfiring on multiple cylinders. Usually misfiring on cylinder 5 and 6, but sometimes all 6 cylinders. When misfiring the check engine light blinks and TCS light comes on. The problem only occurs when the car is idling. If giving it some gas while idling problem never occurs. Soon as gas pedal released minutes later sounds like its about to die and starts misfiring. I have tried to change new NGK iridium spark plugs, swapped new coils from my other TL, changed the fuel pressure regulator, cleaned the EGR ports, ran sea foam and still having the same problem. Any suggestions what I can try to fix the issue much appreciated.

Codes I get:
P0300 : Multiple cylinder misfiring
P0301 - P0306 for Cylinder 1-6 misfiring (normally its just cylinder 5 and 6, but sometimes all 6).

Only at idle? Check the intake for leaks.

^^^ I think that Justnspace has found a possible cure for "crabs". Check RAMBLINGS !!!

Anyways, back to the misfiring.....recheck your previous work while cleaning the EGR, perhaps a gasket is upside down or leaking ? Also, check the fuel pressure.....maybe a leaky injector or loose connector.
Try cleaning the TB intake. Check electrical system, especially the grounds.

The misfiring started before cleaning the EGR ports. I double checked the gasket going in the right way. I'll try checking for intake leaks today. If all good will look into injectors. Checked all my grounds which were good. Thanks!

is it really misfiring on all cyls or that the codes you get?
the other coils made no change? you reset the ecu by pulling the clock fuse for a minute? change in codes or running?
what codes are happening now?

Have you tried swapping with known good injectors?

Does it still misfire after motor is fully hot? Like after idling for 20 minutes?

Just had mine misfire on me this week. Vehicle engine was shaking and engine light blinking. Code read came back on all cylinders, as in i had misfires on each cylinder. Went shopping for spark plugs and one ignition coil. Got home, cleaned out the front gasket (top of the engine & didn't replace it with a new gasket). Did a coil check on each of the six coils, and found only one coil defaulted (the one closest to the driver on the left side). Replaced it with a new ignition coil and engine light, shaking stopped. Ending the new year a happy guy. (cost me $80 for the job but i'm going to return the spark plugs.)

unless you know the spark plugs are good and have less than 70kmiles on them- install the new ones
the fuel savings will pay you back

especially the plug where bad coil was located!

Never hurts to run seafoam thru the gas tank to clean all systems= remove crud from piston tops and intake valves,, and much more than just vac port method.
1 can in just under half tank- do that two times and its great!!

reset the ECU by pulling the CLOCK fuse on passenger end of dash or kick panel by feet.
its the secret backup power to ECU and will clear all codes and reset system = so it sees the new coil and stops compensating for its failure
