How would you guys compare a 00 TL with 00 A4? Goods and bads

If you do a Google search on this outside the forum, I'm almost certain there's a group of people who tested these two and a Volvo and gave their opinions on all three -- can't remember where I saw it, but it's a discussion forum out there, and it had a lot of awesome information in it. My girlfriend has a b5 A4 and i drive a 2000 TL. I love my TL way better than her audi but that's my opinion. i guess its because its my car. I drove her car and i don't like how it revs really high before it shifts on automatic. Plus, the TL is much more quiet and saves more gas. The audi does have a turbo feature but its really small and not that powerfull. TL for sure. looks and much comfy.

 

I tend to hear about euro cars having electrical problems. The TL's well other then the transmission recall so far it seems fine but Im pretty sure there are plenty of trades offs with any make of car you buy.

 

I was thinking about an A4. If I sale my TL, I will make 1500 on it, and if I dont and keep it for couple of more months and if the tranny runs out on me, I out ot luck. I have about 130k miles.

Let me know what will be a good trade for a 2000 TL? for about the same price range
