2000 TL fog lights
I have a 2000 TL, so no factory fog lights in the bumper. I am looking for some fog lights that will fit the stock opening, and I cannot find anything. Does anyone out there have anythng that fits in that stock opening, and if so where did you get it? I really want to add fog lights to the car, but I don't want something that looks tacky. I am trying to keep all my mods to this car at least stock looking, even if they aren't actually stock. I would prefer HID fog lights too, if anyone has any suggestons. Thanks for any help.

welcome to the forum
you will find most topics covered already--search feature and cking out the diy section
(3rd item down main gen2 list)
accord lights can be fabricated in--no bolt in units avail
or go aftermarket that attach to lower grill and work awesome for little effort
then do the resonator box removal
cut out the spaces between the raised braces on fake fog light cutouts--
opening the left/driver side will give way more air available to the engine

If you are handy, you can fit almost any aftermarket fog light kit. I managed to install the Hella Micro DE kit into my 2000 TL. I even retrofitted them to HID. It's not hard. But it is tedious so you will need patience, especially to align the beams correctly on the road.
All I did was use a 2-1/4" hole saw to make a perfect hole thru those fog grilles, glue a 1" thick plastic base on the back of them to mount the fogs onto, and cut some metal off the radiator support base to make room for the fogs.

Thanks everyone. I tried searching, but didn't find anything exactly relating to what I was looking for. The search on this sight is tedious sometimes. I will search and look at the sticky. And Victus, those look great. That really does look almost factory.

Gfaze, thanks for the link to the DIY page. That is going to be dangerous. I can't let my wife know about that page. She already complains that I spend too much time playing with my car as it is.

see the above post with link to diy
Link to all diy list is approx. 5th item down the main gen2 TL thread list- as you start in the forum pages
There are more choices now with LED driving lights gaining popularity and power
BUT you have to do some cutting and fabricating as the 99-01 nose did not come with fog lights- just the fake cutouts
Note: the driver side cutout can be stealthily opened to allow more airflow in to the area- with intake resonator box removed- see diy~ makes for better running

Note: there are many things to consider before buying a gen2 TL,
the transmission wearout/failure issue being the major one and the timing belt service is the other
see the threads with title like- buying a TL, for user comments and things to watch for
Unless you have 2 grand left over after purchase to do the 105 service, and assume it will need a trans donated from a later year accord @1000-1500 dollars,,
then go for it!
If those numbers are not ok, get a Toyota or nissan
